Hardbacks are just $3.00, paperbacks only $1.00, and we accept cash only.
Every purchase helps fund library programs, resources, and events that inspire learning and connection. Open during regular library hours—Monday-Thursday 10 AM to 7 PM, Friday 10 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday 12 PM to 4 PM—our bookstore is the perfect place to find your next great read while giving back to the community.

The Friends of the Library welcomes donations of materials in good condition that may be offered for sale in the Friends of the Library bookstore. You may drop off your donations at the Library’s service desk. All proceeds from book sales are used to sponsor library programs and activities.
Donations are currently limited to 1 box or bag containing up to 25 items per week.
We accept the following items:
Adult, Young Adult, and Juvenile books
Hardcover or paperback
Fiction, non-fiction, and classic literature
We are unable to accept the following items:
Outdated medical and technology non-fiction (more than 5 years old)
Encyclopedias
Reader’s Digest condensed books
Textbooks or workbooks
Periodicals (Magazines)
Computer software
Music CDs or DVDs
Cassette or VHS tapes
Homemade copies of CDs and DVDs
Items in poor physical condition that are damaged, mildewed, foul-smelling, or bug-infested
The library reserves the right to refuse donated items due to space limitations, condition of the materials, or request for tracking of donations. All donations become the property of Bruton Memorial Library.
